Plain language means writing that anyone can read, understand, and use. Most scientific and medical information is written for experts, plain language bridges that gap so real people can make informed decisions about their health.
No. I am a technical communicator and science writer. I translate research into plain language. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Always talk to your doctor about your specific situation.
Professionals
I work with peer reviewed studies, clinical research, public health data, and evidence based materials across health, biology, and medicine. If it has science in it, I can translate it.
Yes. Accuracy is non negotiable. I fact check everything and can include formal references and citations depending on the package you choose.
A link or PDF of the study or research you want translated, a brief description of your target audience, and any specific tone or format requirements. That is it!
Yes. If your work is sensitive or unpublished I am happy to sign a confidentiality agreement before we begin.
Absolutely. Just share your style guide or any examples and I will match your voice and format.
My tiers generally cover a deep dive into one primary study or paper. If you have a massive data set or multiple papers that need to be synthesized together, please contact me for a custom quote.
Working Together
Fill out the contact form on the Let’s Talk page and tell me a little about your project. I will get back to you within 1 to 2 business days to discuss next steps.
After we discuss your project I will send you a customized invoice. Payment is due before work begins.
Every package includes at least one revision. Additional revisions are available as an add on. I want you to be happy with the final product.
Because of the nature of custom written work, refunds are not offered once work has begun. However I am committed to working with you until you are satisfied within the agreed revision terms.
Yes! Rush delivery is available as an add on for most packages depending on my current workload.
Absolutely. I work remotely with clients anywhere in the world.
